A sea of rainbow colours flew over the Rawcliffe Bridge Hotel as villagers celebrated Pride 2025 in Rawcliffe and Rawcliffe Bridge.
This is the third year in what has now become an annual event to celebrate the diverse community in which we all live.
This year as well as a quiz night, bigger bouncy castle and face painting we were joined by Flip and Bun who served up delicious food across the day. The party atmosphere continued into the evening with a disco and then the drawing of the raffle supported by local business.
All in all the event raised over £200 and as you can see by the photographs was a huge success!
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this event especially,
Melissa at Rawcliffe bridge hotel
Russ at Roadways for the signs
Scouts for painting the rainbows
Tates Fish Shop
Reme hair and beauty
Philip luis design and build
Skin and furs
Rawcliffe and Rawcliffe Bridge Pride Committee
and not forgetting the Rawcliffe and Rawcliffe Bridge Parish council for their community grant.
We will be back, even bigger next year!
