Get ready to change the “5” to a “6” as we are back for another Pride week at Rawcliffe and Rawcliffe Bridge.
Last week our Pride Committee pitched to the Parish council for a grant towards the funding of Pride 2026 and we are pleased to announce that we have been awarded £700.
Many thanks once again to the Rawcliffe and Rawcliffe Bridge Parish Council for supporting this event!
In addition to the £700 grant from our Parish Council, as a group we have always fund raised ourselves and still have additional funds left from last years events to add to the £700 to make the event even bigger this year.
So now the planning starts and one of our first jobs will be to find a new venue. With the sad closure of the Rawcliffe Bridge Hotel, we are now looking for a new location in which to hold this celebration of diversity within our community.
Over the next couple of weeks we will be approaching other potential venues and hopefully we can announce our new venue soon 🙂
